I'm ...Thanks for answering my questions, Tracy! I'm currently using Pure Encapsulations Liposomal Glutathione in addition to Dr. Ben Lynch's active B12 and active folate supplements my naturopath put me on to treat my compound heterozygous MTHFR mutation, but at 16 ½ months off TS I'm still experiencing energy issues, so I was intrigued with your comments about the improvement in energy you're noticing on your new glutathione supplement.

Thanks again, and continued good wishes to you for complete healing!

NancyThe Sentinelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07747312134042594542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3826301325937446472.post-89483111375069875032014-07-01T16:04:17.751-07:002014-07-01T16:04:17.751-07:00Hi Nancy,
Thanks for the congrats! As for your q...Hi Nancy,
Thanks for the congrats! As for your questions:

1. I am now taking Glutathione Gold as seen here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GR5GAII/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

2. I take one pill per day

3. I chose this on my own research. My ND recommends glutathione IV or in a lipid based delivery system (gel or large pills). I found research articles that support the best oral delivery of glutathione is one that is attached to an acetyl group (like aspirin is).

4. I switched because the oral gel my ND recommended was nasty tasting and I was getting nauseated from the taste....the IV form gave me a good 3-4 day boost but then a "crash" in energy. So while looking into other glutathione supplements I came across the acetyl research.

5. I take quite a few right now as my body is still healing. I take active folate and active B12 about 1000 mcg 3 times a week, Vitamin E, Vitamin D3, fulvic minerals, fermented cod liver oil, butter oil, probiotics, vitamin C, MSM powder, and iodine drops. It would take too long to go into all the doses and brands right now - but any health food store can help you with good brands. I think I have some of the brands listed on my blog....this page (http://stoppingtopicalsteroids.blogspot.com/p/how-i-healed-my-skin.html) shows some of them - but I have since changed some of the doses. Did your naturopath recommend this particular glutathione supplement to you, or did you choose it based on your own research?
4. Why did you switch glutathione supplements?
5. What other supplements are you taking now (type/brand/dosage) to treat your MTHFR mutation?

Big congrats on your healing progress!

Nancy The Sentinelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07747312134042594542noreply@blogger.com
